About the CANwizard

CANwizard The software CANwizard® is a configuration tool for CANopen devices and networks. It contains special features for the applikation profil CANopen CiA-417 (lift control). For the lift technician the CANwizard provides an easy way to configure devices from many different brands without any knowledge of CANopen networks.

For developers of CANopen devices the software provides many diagnostic features, firmware update via the CAN bus and to write own extensions.

Additional Device Bitmaps

The current CANwizard® version (2.00.18) automatically selects device bitmaps, using the content of the object 0x1008. The program selects the bitmap file name, starting with the visible string, found at object 0x1008. As an example, the program would select the file "bp308.bmp" based on the object content 0x1008 = "bp308 Lift Controller".

Fix for PEAK-CAN-Adapter

Issues fixed

The communication issue regarding the PEAK-CAN-adapter running the program version 2.0 is fixed by the release 2.00.04. Additionally the new update includes recording of Emergency Objects by the event monitor. 

Upgrade to Version 2.0 released

Update

Users of the demo-, service or developer version can get the upgrade to version 2.0 for free. Users of the professional version have to buy the update at our sales department. The professional upgrade will be delivered on a data medium.
